LimeBanana are a fresh and innovative furniture retailer based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Over the past 8 months, we have invested heavily in exploring foreign markets and visiting furniture manufacturers around the world. This has resulted in us establishing some fantastic relationships with some high quality manufacturers from around the Globe.
What has surprised us is how many of these manufacturers produce products for the High Street chains yet still want to do business with companies such as us. This means that we can buy and sell to you, exactly the same, if not better quality of products that you would pay double the price for if it had a famous brand name stuck on the side!
For legal reasons we wouldn't state that our products are those sold in the 'high end' High Street stores - but have a look at their products and then compare them to ours.
We basically take out the middle man! We don't have a huge showroom nor the associated staffing costs.
We do however have a small showroom where you are welcome to visit (by appt) to view the products and see the quality of the furniture that we sell. Feel free to contact us if this interests you. The showroom is attached to our warehouse and so this is also where you would come if you wanted to collect your item in person.
Why buy from limebanana?
We could go on and on about the reasons why you should seriously consider us for your new furniture... but here are a couple of the most important points....
We generally only sell what is in stock!!!
You can go to many online sites and even many High Street stores, select your furniture, pay up front and then wait 6 to 8 weeks for your delivery. This is because once they have your money they order your furniture - no risk to them at all!!! Why should they do that??? You have paid, you want your goods straight away! This is why we are different - you pay, we deliver - simple! This means we hold a lot of stock which doesn't please the Bank Manager. But it means happy customers which is what we like!
The exception to this is when we are getting new ranges into stock. Sometimes, a new range is on its way and we want to tell everyone about it!! We therefore may offer some ranges on a lead time but this lead time will be clearly displayed on the product information page and it is a lead time we are comfortable in achieving. Of course, if you’d prefer to wait to make your purchase, the furniture will eventually come into stock anyway and then you can buy it the normal way. When we do offer products that are on a lead time, we sometimes offer them at a discount as an added bonus to those who are prepared to pay and wait – it saves you money and it helps our cashflow; a win – win all round!
We are real people!!!
How many times do you deal with internet based companies but never actually get to speak to someone. Or how many times do you go into a furniture showroom and get to deal with the same person every time? We are real, you can come and visit us, you can call and talk to us! We are a small company and we care about our customers and what we do.
